Essentia Community Connect provides affiliates with the unique opportunity to leverage existing Essentia Health investments in resources and infrastructure while remaining an independent organization. The robust and resilient infrastructure supports regulatory requirements such as HIPPA, Meaningful Use, and ICD-10 migration. The content structure of the Community Connect Program allows Essentia and independent practices and hospitals to share clinical data when appropriate while keeping finances and scheduling separate. Patients enjoy self-service management of their health record through MyHealth patient portal, which can be made available through both independent physician offices and hospitals and is also functionality necessary for Stage 2 Meaningful Use compliance.

The Essentia Community Connect Program provides a combination of personal training and electronic eLearning modules. Essentia Community Connect includes onsite support during go-live and 24x7 help desk support based on a three-tier support model system with an affiliate driven first line of defense. The Community Connect Program does not include hardware or network connectivity. Minimum requirements will be provided upon request.
